Nevion lanserar VS7700 för Ventura plattformen som innehåller två oberoende ASI switchar med två ingångar. Tekniken är beprövad från Bravo plattformen och ger en helt sömlös switch mellan ASI signaler.
Om man tappar båda insignalerna upprätthåller kortet bitströmmen med nollpaket tills signalen återkommer.
Basic functionality
Provides perfect redundant switching for ASI ? Primary and secondary signal are perfectly aligned in time using program clock reference (PCR) time stamps in the incoming ASI signals
Two fully independent switches per card ? Dual inputs and dual outputs on each switch via 75 ohm coaxial interfaces
Automatic bypass feature enables switch bypass on loss of power or card removal from chassis
Byte and packet stuffed ASI modes supported ? Streams can be at any rate between 850kbps and 213Mbps ? Accommodates timing differential of up to 1 second for 106Mb/s or 0.5 seconds for 213Mb/s streams
